At Rathdrum Fitness, our slogan is "Where Fitness is a Lifestyle." We are a premier, comprehensive 21,000 square foot fitness facility proudly serving our local community with 24-hour access. We take pride in offering an incredibly welcoming environment featuring a full line of free weights, specialized group classes (cycling, barre, yoga), full-sized basketball and pickleball courts, saunas, a hot tub, tanning, and childcare services.

We are looking for an ambitious, community-minded General Manager to lead our day-to-day operations, drive revenue growth, manage our professional staff, and ensure our members always receive a clean, friendly, and motivating experience.

Key Responsibilities Facility & Operational Leadership:

Oversee daily club workflows, scheduling, and staff for our 21,000 sq. ft. building, ensuring peak cleanliness and equipment safety.

Staff Management & Development:

Recruit, train, and manage front desk teams, membership coordinators, and group fitness instructors to deliver top-tier customer service.

Membership & Revenue Growth:

Drive local gym memberships, promote specialized fitness classes, and manage community outreach programs. 24/7

Operations Oversight:

Coordinate keycard security systems, staff schedules during staffed hours, and seamless facility operations for our 24/7 all-access members.

Member Relations & Retention:

Maintain our high standard of a judge-free, positive environment by building strong relationships with our members.

What We Are Looking For Experience:

Minimum 2-3 years of management experience in fitness, sports facilities, hospitality, or retail management.

Proven Track Record:

Experience managing sales pipelines, team scheduling, and customer service operations.

Community Leader:

A high-energy, detail-oriented individual who loves connecting with people and thrives in a local, independent gym culture.

Tech Proficiency:

Familiarity with gym CRM platforms, 24/7 keycard access systems, and scheduling software.

Certifications:

Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain them within 30 days of hire). If you are able to fix things, that would be a HUGE added bonus!!
