Job Description
Job Summary The Fitness Center Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining a welcoming and safe environment for all gym members and guests. This position involves overseeing the fitness center, providing guidance on equipment usage, and ensuring that all facilities are clean and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of fitness principles, in order to effectively educate and assist members in achieving their fitness goals. Responsibilities Greet members and guests as they enter the fitness center, providing exceptional customer service. Monitor the use of gym equipment to ensure safety and proper technique. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fitness area, including equipment sanitation. Address member inquiries regarding health club services, programs, and fitness-related topics. Collaborate with other staff to promote health initiatives and special events within the facility. Skills Experience in personal training or group fitness instruction is a plus. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while promoting a positive atmosphere in the gym setting. Passion for health and wellness with a commitment to helping others achieve their fitness goals.
