Broadcasting Manager

HARRISBURG UNIVERSITY STORM BROADCASTING INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTIONS

Broadcasting Manager We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the HU Storm as a Broadcast Intern. As a Broadcast Intern, you will be responsible to produce live broadcasts of matches and events. In this role, you will work alongside HU Storm leadership team to produce, promote, and execute Twitch and YouTube live streams. Due to the nature of this role, we're looking for an inventive and creative person who will bring fresh ideas to the table and is excited to implement them. This role involves occasional evening and weekend work, as well as event work when required. Responsibilities

• Primary point of contact for set up and operation of broadcast equipment
• Monitor and adjust audio and video quality during live broadcasts
• Clip and edit content from streams for social media posts
• Collaborate with the team to develop new ideas for content and broadcasts
• Help with the promotion of broadcasts and events on social media
• Organize casters and additional broadcast talent
• Assist with other HU Storm assignments as needed

Qualifications:

• Some experience streaming on Twitch, YouTube, etc. and with OBS, Streamlabs or other streaming software.
• Some experience with video and audio equipment and software
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be available to work some evenings and weekends as needed
• Passion for esports, gaming, and streaming
• Currently enrolled full-time at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology
