Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
: BGC Site Supervisor coordinates year-round programming for the Boys and Girls Club of the Kiowa Tribe within the Kiowa Education Agency. This position supervises youth and oversees programs within the Club, such as Education, Special Education, Culture, Recreation, and Physical Education. Site Supervisor plans, develops, and supervises youth Club Members, volunteers, and instructional staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee day-to-day program activities in accordance with established standards and goals Maintain open Club hours of operation minimally from Monday-Friday between 2-6 p.m. Provide safe supervision and focused time for academic support and a variety of program activities Demonstrate leadership and positive conduct for the development of Club Members Drive and transport Club Members Maintain communication with schools, parents, and public as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalency Work experience in a Boys and Girls Club or similar youth program or organization Experience planning and supervising activities based on the developmental needs of young people Good organization, accountability, communication, planning, initiative, and use of technology skills Must complete/maintain safety, CPR, Food Handlers, and First Aid Certifications required by
BGCA REQUIREMENTS
Must possess a valid Oklahoma State Driver's License under the Kiowa Tribe's Policy Must be insurable with clean record under the K.E.A.'s Driver Policy Must submit to background checks, fingerprinting, and drug testing according to the Kiowa Tribe's Drug-Free Workplace Policy and K.E.A. Policy
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, stretching, and lifting objects of 35 pounds Requires good audio and visual health to perform job duties Requires flexibility in scheduling and work settings, driving, periodical work-related travel
