Hersheypark amusement park spans 121-acres, and welcomes guests to experience Hersheypark Happy all year long! As the largest amusement park in Pennsylvania, Hersheypark is home to more than 70 rides including 15 coasters and 20+ kiddie rides, as well as a zoo, and an entire water park. The Assistant Manager of Park Services will supervise and lead part-time seasonal team members in ensuring that appearance and cleanliness expectations are met and exceeded for all of our venues, to include Hersheypark, GIANT Center, Hersheypark Stadium, and Hershey Theatre. This role will assist in coordinating and conducting training sessions and will ensure that staffing levels are commensurate with cleaning needs. Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job): Supervise and lead the Park Services team members to include morning clean-up crews, janitorial attendants, and supervisor positions. Ensure each area has proper staffing and that all team members have proper training and documentation for each shift.
Provide coaching and training for part-time seasonal team members on their shifts. Assist in leadership development through providing opportunities for employees to continue to grow and develop while providing recognition and appreciation to our team members.
Coordinate and ensure that daily staffing levels are commensurate with operational needs.
Oversee and maintain department equipment inventories and ensure all equipment is functioning properly. Coordinate timely and efficient repairs while maintaining proper inventory levels.
Communicate regularly with Management regarding operational issues or concerns to include team member or guest matters. Establish and maintain a good working relationship with other departments and support teams to ensure alignment and consistency.
Perform and complete assigned tasks from management as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of related experience. Industry Experience - Amusement Park, Construction/Maintenance, Hospitality/Tourism Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience. 18 Years or older Must have a valid Driver's License Completion of high school or
GED Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
