San Diego, CA Job Details Contract $600 a week 8 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Stress management Administrative experience Front desk Patience Events management Event customer service Full Job Description We are seeking an organized, friendly, and reliable Conference Coordinator to support onsite conference operations during our annual scientific meeting in San Diego. This temporary assignment is ideal for individuals with event, hospitality, convention, customer service, or conference experience. The Conference Coordinator will serve as a key point of contact for attendees, exhibitors, and conference guests while ensuring a positive and professional experience throughout the event. Event Dates & Hours Sunday, October 18 Exhibitor and registration setup Monday, October 19 6:00 AM
  • 6:00 PM Tuesday, October 20 6:00 AM
  • 6:00 PM Wednesday, October 21 6:00 AM
  • 2:00 PM Must be available for all event dates.
Compensation $600 Flat Rate Meals provided during conference hours Valuable experience working at a national scientific conference Responsibilities Assist with exhibitor and sponsor move-in and setup Support conference registration and attendee check-in Distribute badges and conference materials Staff the attendee information desk Answer basic attendee questions and provide wayfinding assistance Support exhibitors with general conference logistics Assist with maintaining registration and welcome areas Provide exceptional customer service to attendees, faculty, and sponsors Help with conference breakdown and exhibitor move-out Qualifications Prior event, conference, hospitality, convention, customer service, or administrative experience preferred Professional and welcoming demeanor Strong communication skills Ability to problem-solve and remain calm under pressure Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds Punctual, organized, and dependable Comfortable working in a fast-paced conference environment
Pay:
