Position Overview House of Lavonne is seeking an experienced Day-of Wedding Coordinator Lead to join our team on a contract, per-wedding basis. This role is designed for a seasoned wedding or event professional who can confidently take ownership of a wedding day with little to no supervision . The Lead Coordinator will oversee wedding day logistics, manage vendors, execute the timeline, communicate with the couple and venue, and ensure the event runs smoothly from start to finish. The Lead Coordinator will also oversee and provide direction to one House of Lavonne Day-of Coordinator assigned to support the event. When assigned, the Lead Coordinator may also independently lead the couple's wedding rehearsal for up to two hours . House of Lavonne will provide the wedding timeline, vendor information, client notes, and other important event details in advance. The Lead Coordinator is expected to review all materials, arrive prepared, and confidently lead the event on-site.

Primarily evenings and weekends based on wedding dates and availability Key Responsibilities Review wedding timelines, vendor information, floor plans, and client notes prior to the wedding Attend timeline reviews or team preparation meetings as needed Independently execute the wedding day timeline with little to no supervision Serve as the primary House of Lavonne point of contact for the couple, wedding party, vendors, and venue team Manage and provide direction to one Day-of Coordinator Oversee vendor arrivals, setup, and wedding day logistics Manage ceremony lineup, processional and recessional cues, and ceremony transitions Oversee cocktail hour and reception flow, including entrances, dances, speeches, dinner, and other scheduled activities Keep the wedding day on schedule and make necessary adjustments when circumstances change Communicate clearly with vendors and key wedding party members throughout the event Troubleshoot issues calmly, professionally, and discreetly Make sound wedding-day decisions without requiring constant direction from the House of Lavonne Lead Planner or Owner Lead wedding rehearsals when assigned, including organizing the wedding party and reviewing ceremony positioning, processional order, and cues Provide warm, attentive, and professional customer service throughout the event Maintain a polished, calm, and solutions-focused presence that reflects the House of Lavonne brand Required Experience & Qualifications This is not an entry-level position . Minimum of 4 years of professional wedding planning, wedding coordination, and/or event management experience Proven experience independently managing weddings or live events Experience managing vendors, timelines, and event-day logistics Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to remain calm and make confident decisions under pressure Professional, warm, and polished client-facing demeanor Reliable transportation and weekend/evening availability Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who can receive a completed wedding plan, understand the vision and logistics, and confidently take ownership of execution. You are comfortable leading vendors and team members, giving clear direction, adjusting when things do not go according to plan, and making decisions in real time. You understand that excellent wedding coordination requires both strong logistics management and exceptional customer service. Most importantly, you can be trusted to represent House of Lavonne professionally and provide our couples with a calm, organized, and elevated experience.
