This is a hands-on, event-day role focused on setup and breakdown, on-site support during events, and coordination with vendors and facilities staff to ensure a smooth experience for clients and guests. Hours vary based on the event calendar and typically include evenings and weekends, with some administrative office hour availability preferred. Estimated hours starting around 20 per week. Primary Responsibilities Set up and break down event spaces including furniture, staging, signage, and Bar Services in accordance with event layouts, event contracts, and client specifications Serve as an on-site point of contact during events, assisting clients, guests, and vendors as needed Coordinate with caterers, A/V technicians, bartending staff, facilities staff, and other vendors to support event logistics Monitor event spaces throughout the event to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to venue standards Assist with post-event breakdown, inventory return, and room reset Qualifications Prior experience in event support, hospitality, catering, or a similar service role preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced event environment Ability to qualify for a servers license (alcohol) Availability for evenings and weekends required Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and manner Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods Organization Description Now in its 83rd season, the Fort Wayne Philharmonic is one of the most exciting performing arts organizations in Indiana.
