Adecco is searching for an Event Coordinator for a great manufacturing company in Andover! This is a contract to potential hire opportunity.
Hours:
8:00AM-5:00
PM, Monday-Friday Pay:
$40/hour
Position Summary:
Responsible for planning and executing education events, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure successful content, communications, logistics, staffing, and budgets. This fast-paced role requires a collaborative, agile, and detail-oriented mindset and reports to the Sr. Education Manager. Hybrid position with 3 days per week in the Andover, MA office.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end planning for assigned regional events and support large-scale national events. Manage event logistics, including venues, contracts, AV, food & beverage, speakers, staffing, and budgets. Ensure programs meet Continuing Education (CE) accreditation standards (AGD, ADA, etc.). Partner with Sales, Marketing, Education, and leadership to align events with company goals. Conduct post-event evaluations and track attendance, engagement, ROI, budgets, and revenue. Maintain accurate event and attendee records using CRM/event platforms, SAP, SKILL, and MS Office. Serve as a key contact for internal and external stakeholders and identify opportunities to improve event processes.
Qualifications:
2-4 years of event coordination experience, including 1-2 years of full event planning or event sales experience, preferably in a corporate or educational setting. 2-4 years of experience working in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience. Willingness to travel overnight and on weekends as needed.
Required Skills:
Strong event management, logistics, budgeting, and organizational skills. Experience with post-event reporting, ROI analysis, and performance tracking. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and customer service skills. Highly organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to multitask. Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills. Advanced proficiency with MS Office, SAP, and Cvent. Basic understanding of LEAN Office Management principles. Pay Details:
