This is a hands on floral design position that combines floral design, client communication, and event management. The Floral Event Manager will work with clients from consultation through event day, creating designs that bring their vision to life while managing the details needed for a successful event. We are actively growing the event side of Blossoms and are looking for someone who takes initiative, brings new ideas to the table, and is excited to help expand this part of our business. Events will be the primary focus of this position. When the event schedule allows, this person will also assist the Blossoms design team with everyday floral orders. Responsibilities Design and create floral arrangements for weddings, parties, corporate events, and other special occasions: bouquets, personal flowers, centerpieces, ceremony arrangements, installations, statement pieces, and other event florals Meet with clients to understand their style, vision, floral preferences, priorities, and budget Guide clients through flower, container, décor, and design selections Prepare proposals, estimates, contracts, and detailed floral plans Determine flower quantities and assist with ordering flowers, greenery, containers, and other event materials Manage floral production, delivery, setup, and breakdown for events Communicate with clients, venues, planners, rental companies, and other event professionals Maintain organized client records, contracts, payments, and design notes Maintain Blossoms' standards for floral design, quality, freshness, and presentation Identify opportunities and bring forward ideas to help grow Blossoms' wedding and event business Assist with everyday floral orders when the event schedule and workload allow Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of professional floral arranging and design experience Minimum 2 years of experience working in weddings, events, hospitality, or another client focused environment Strong floral design skills and knowledge of floral mechanics, flower care, color, proportion, and composition Strong customer service and communication skills with confidence working directly with clients Ability to create a variety of floral designs, from personal flowers and centerpieces to larger event pieces Strong creative eye with excellent attention to detail Self motivated with the ability to take initiative and work independently Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines Comfortable discussing pricing, budgets, contracts, and payments with clients Ability and willingness to learn new technology, software, and systems Ability to lift, carry, deliver, set up, and break down floral arrangements and event décor Flexible availability for weekends, early mornings, and evenings when required by event schedules Additional Experience Experience with DOVE floral software is a plus Experience with event management, CRM, proposal, or other floral industry software is a plus Experience helping grow a wedding, event, floral, or hospitality business is a plus About Blossoms At Blossoms, we believe flowers should feel personal. Pay:
