Job Description

Job Title:
Tournament Operations and Development Intern OUR WHY At All-Star Sports Academy (ASSA), we deliver impact through our mission: "Inspiring and mentoring young athletes to become successful individuals — one game, one lesson, and one player at a time." We are looking for an in-person intern to join our Tournament Operations team during the fall and winter. The intern will work in the office a few days per week, assisting with day-to-day tournament operations and future tournament development. This role reports to the Special Event Operations Coordinators.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with tournament and facility scheduling Communicate with teams, coaches, facilities, and event staff Research and prospect teams for future tournaments Identify and prospect potential facilities and locations for future events Organize event information and operational documents Update internal systems and registration records Help with general tournament planning and preparation
Qualifications:
Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Comfortable communicating professionally with teams, coaches, and staff Interest in sports management, event operations, sales, or tournament development Available to work in person a few days per week during the fall and winter Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, and basic scheduling/registration systems
Physical Requirements:
