Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Manager/Event Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing a variety of events, ensuring that all aspects run smoothly and meet the expectations of our clients. This role requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, along with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Duties Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, catering, entertainment, and logistics. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences while providing expert advice on event options. Market events through various channels to maximize attendance and engagement. Upsell additional services or products to enhance the overall event experience for clients. Oversee on-site event execution, ensuring all details are in place and addressing any issues that arise promptly. Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after events to build lasting relationships with clients. Ordering, scheduling FOH, and keeping up with bar par levels and inventory. Experience Proven experience in event planning or coordination is preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across various levels of an organization. Experience in budgeting and financial management related to events is desirable. 2 or more years in a restaurant management/supervisory position. Culinary competency preferred.
