Responsibilities Prepare fresh sandwiches and food items according to company recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing retail sales transactions, cash register operations, and food service customer order management. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including sanitation, food handling, and kitchen equipment operation to meet food safety regulations. Manage customer orders efficiently while upselling menu items to enhance sales performance. Oversee daily restaurant operations, including cash handling, processing cash transactions, and ensuring accurate register reconciliation. Lead team members by providing training on food preparation, customer service, POS systems, and safety protocols. Uphold health standards by practicing proper food safety management, sanitation practices, and serving customers with professionalism and enthusiasm. Qualifications Proven experience in food preparation, quick service or fast-food restaurant environments, or retail food industry roles. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; previous cashiering or cashier experience is preferred. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy hours. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and the ability to upsell menu items confidently. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean workspace. Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing; previous experience in restaurant or café settings is advantageous.
