Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic To-go Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for guests placing takeout orders, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience from start to finish. Your exceptional customer service skills will help create a positive atmosphere while effectively managing order processing and guest relations. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and assist them with their to-go orders, providing recommendations when needed. Accurately input orders into the Aloha POS system and ensure timely preparation of food items. Maintain clear communication with kitchen staff to ensure all orders are prepared correctly and efficiently. Handle phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while taking orders or addressing guest inquiries. Ensure that all to-go orders are packaged securely and presented attractively for guests. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the to-go area, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Foster positive guest relations by addressing concerns or feedback promptly and professionally. Qualifications Previous experience in customer service, particularly in a restaurant or food service environment, is preferred. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with guests and team members. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A friendly demeanor with a genuine desire to help guests have an exceptional experience. Knowledge of food safety practices is beneficial but not required; training will be provided.
