In this role, you will be the friendly face greeting customers, managing food service transactions, and assisting with deli food preparation. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Responsibilities Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently Handle cash register operations, including processing cash, credit/debit card payments, and giving correct change Assist customers with food service orders at the deli counter, providing friendly and knowledgeable service Prepare and serve deli items, ensuring food safety standards and sanitation protocols are maintained at all times Upsell products by recommending additional items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Maintain a clean workspace by regularly sanitizing counters, equipment, and food handling areas Operate kitchen equipment safely for food preparation and support overall food industry standards in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting Experience Previous experience in food service, retail sales, or cashiering roles is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Experience with food handling, safety management, sanitation practices, and operating kitchen equipment is highly desirable Strong math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing basic calculations Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities Prior experience in quick service or fast food restaurants will be considered an asset Join our team to deliver exceptional customer experiences through energetic service, efficient operations, and a passion for quality food!
