Description:

MTSS stands for Multi-Tiered Systems of Support. MTSS is an instructional framework that includes universal screening of all students, multiple tiers of instruction and support services, and an integrated data collection and assessment system to inform decisions at each tier of instruction.

Job Duties:

MTSS team members will work with their building administrator to complete the following: Identify / Recommend Interventions and Resources differentiated by area of need for social-emotional, functional, developmental, and academic needs Formally meet twice per month outside of contracted hours for a minimum of one hour per meeting, maintaining 75% attendance rate Use Mansfield City Schools MTSS Practices and Procedures to implement MTSS Structure Provide training for use of and implementation of interventions and resources Provide feedback to TBTs, BLT, Administration, and Special Education Leadership Provide Summary of Services/Students recommended at the conclusion of the first and second semesters to the MTSS Coordinator School Teams One team will be established per school.

General Education Teacher (ELA) General Education Teacher (Math) Intervention Specialist Support Specialist Administrative And/or Contracted Staff Related Service Provider Building Administrator Special Education Coordinator (Tier 3 only) School Psychologist (Tier 3 only)
