Responsibilities Prepare a variety of deli foods with attention to quality, safety, and presentation, including slicing meats, assembling sandwiches, and maintaining fresh product displays Operating meat/cheese slicer Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently Handle customer orders with professionalism, upselling products when appropriate to enhance the guest experience Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to sanitation standards and food safety protocols throughout your shift Manage cash register operations by processing cash transactions, giving correct change, and balancing cash drawers at the end of each shift Assist customers with questions about menu items, dietary options, and store products to ensure satisfaction and repeat business Operate kitchen equipment safely for food preparation while following proper food handling procedures Pay Rate will be determined by experience Requirements Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail sales is highly preferred Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety management practices Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain sanitation standards at all times Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing register operations Food handling certification or willingness to obtain necessary food safety training prior to starting is preferred Previous experience working in a deli or restaurant environment will be advantageous Join us in creating memorable experiences for our customers through quality food and friendly service.
