Job Description

Cafe Team Member The Kind Cafe - Selinsgrove, PA About Us The Kind Cafe is a popular, laid-back breakfast and lunch spot in Selinsgrove, known for our homemade sauces, dressings, paninis, and fresh menu items. We pride ourselves on quality from-scratch cooking and a fun and supportive team environment. No dinner service — we focus on daytime hours so you can enjoy your evenings! Position Overview We're looking for a reliable and responsible employee to join our tight-knit team. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced cafe where you'll maintain high customer service standards, help lead the FOH team, and keep operations running smoothly and efficiently. Perfect for someone who thrives in a positive, efficient environment and wants stable daytime hours with no nights.

Schedule:

20-35 hours per week

Compensation:

$13-$16 per hour base + $5-$7 per hour average tip share Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to cafe standards. Take customer orders and provide friendly, efficient & accurate service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe. Handle cash and POS transactions accurately. Restock supplies and ensure inventory is up to date. Assist with general cafe opening and closing duties as needed.
