Job Description

Position Summary:

A Sonic Drive-In Carhop provides fast, friendly customer service by delivering food and beverages to guests in their vehicles. Carhops ensure orders are accurate, maintain a clean work environment, and create a positive dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers with a friendly attitude. Deliver food and drinks quickly and accurately to parked vehicles. Take customer orders (if required by the location). Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments. Answer customer questions and resolve concerns professionally. Maintain cleanliness of dining, parking, and work areas. Restock supplies and assist with food preparation when needed. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines. Work as part of a team to provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications:

No experience required (training provided). Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented. Must meet minimum age requirements set by the location.

Preferred Skills:

Cash handling experience. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Ability to multitask. Problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements:

Stand and walk for long periods. Carry food trays and beverages. Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. Lift up to 25 pounds.

Work Schedule:

Full-time or part-time. Flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
