Job Description

Air Evac Lifeteam seeks a skilled Line Pilot to support air medical transport operations across rural and underserved communities. In this safety-focused role, you will operate helicopters for emergency and critical care missions, ensuring rapid, reliable response in high-stakes environments. Working closely with medical and operations teams, you'll perform safe flight planning, preflight checks, and adherence to FAA and company procedures. This position offers continuous training, clear advancement paths, and the opportunity to impact patient outcomes in a mission-first, patient-centered culture. Responsibilities Operate helicopters for emergency and critical care transport missions Conduct thorough preflight, in-flight, and postflight checks to ensure safety and airworthiness Perform precise flight planning, navigation, and fuel management Adhere strictly to FAA regulations and company standard operating procedures Collaborate closely with medical crews and operations staff during missions Maintain clear, professional radio communications with dispatch and ATCExercise sound judgment in weather, landing zone, and go/no-go decisions Participate in ongoing training, safety drills, and recurrent check rides Accurately complete required flight logs, reports, and documentation Support a mission-first, patient-centered, and safety-focused culture Required Skills Helicopter flight operations IFR/VFR procedures Air medical transport operations Flight planning and navigation Aircraft preflight and safety checks FAA regulations and compliance Crew resource management Emergency procedures and decision-making Radio communication and airspace coordination Night and adverse weather flying
