Part 91 Position Overview We are seeking an experienced professional pilot to join a private Part 91 flight operation based at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport (KOPF). This is a hands-on position for a pilot who understands the service expectations associated with private aviation and is comfortable being part of a small, collaborative crew. The ideal candidate will bring significant flight experience, strong international capabilities, professionalism, flexibility, and a team-first attitude. Global 7500 type rating is strongly preferred; however, highly qualified pilots with significant large-cabin business jet experience who are willing and able to obtain the Global 7500 type rating will be considered. Responsibilities Safely operate the Global 7500 in accordance with FAA regulations, company procedures, and established safety standards Conduct domestic and international Part 91 flight operations Perform pre-flight and post-flight responsibilities, including flight planning, weather review, aircraft inspections, and required documentation Coordinate with FBOs, ground handlers, maintenance providers, and other aviation vendors Assist with international flight planning, customs, permits, and other trip requirements as necessary Maintain a high level of aircraft readiness and presentation Assist with keeping the aircraft clean, organized, stocked, and prepared for passengers Assist with passenger service when needed, including preparing or heating food and beverages Work collaboratively with other pilots, flight attendants, maintenance personnel, and support staff Be comfortable with long duty days, changing schedules, and short-notice travel Advance reasonable travel-related expenses when necessary and submit expenses for reimbursement Perform other duties reasonably associated with the safe and professional operation of a private aircraft Qualifications FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate Current FAA medical certificate appropriate for the position Significant total flight time, preferably including large-cabin business jet experience Previous Part 91 experience strongly preferred Global 7500 type rating strongly preferred Candidates with Global Express, Global 6000/6500, Gulfstream, or comparable large-cabin aircraft experience will also be considered Significant international flight experience preferred Demonstrated ability to operate professionally in a high-net-worth/private aviation environment Strong understanding of international flight operations and procedures Ability to travel extensively and accommodate a flexible flight schedule Ability to reliably report to KOPF as required by the flight schedule Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Must possess a valid passport and be able to satisfy applicable entry requirements for international destinations Must successfully complete all required background, employment, certification, and flight-history verification Ideal Candidate Beyond flight experience, we are looking for someone with the right attitude for a private Part 91 operation. The successful candidate understands that being part of a small flight department means everyone contributes. Whether that involves preparing the aircraft, helping with luggage, assisting with catering, heating a passenger's meal, coordinating ground transportation, or helping another crew member, no reasonable task associated with the trip is considered beneath the position. Professionalism, discretion, flexibility, good judgment, and a service-oriented mindset are as important to this role as technical flying ability. Schedule This position requires significant flexibility. Candidates should be comfortable with extensive travel, irregular schedules, long duty days, weekends, holidays, and changes to scheduled trips that are inherent in private aviation. Base The aircraft is based at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport (KOPF) in Opa-locka, Florida. Qualified pilots who do not currently reside in South Florida may be considered provided they can reliably and efficiently report to KOPF when required.
