As demand for High Tanks beer continues to grow across Yuma County, we're expanding our brewing operations and looking for an experienced brewer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Brewer ready to take the next step or an experienced brewer looking to make a meaningful impact at a growing independent brewery. For the right candidate, this position has a clear path to becoming our Lead Brewer. We're looking for someone who has a genuine passion for brewing, takes pride in their craft, and wants to be part of building something special. High Tanks Brewing Company is a small, independently owned brewery located on an 80-acre organic Medjool date farm in rural southwestern Arizona. We believe great beer starts with attention to detail, continuous learning, and a collaborative team that genuinely enjoys working together. What You'll Do Produce high-quality beer while maintaining consistency across all brands. Assist with recipe execution, wort production, fermentation management, cellar work, packaging, and quality control. Clean and sanitize brewing equipment, tanks, kegs, and packaging equipment to the highest standards. Monitor fermentation, collect quality data, and maintain accurate brewing records. Help manage raw material inventory and brewery organization. Assist with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting brewery equipment. Contribute ideas for process improvements, efficiency, and new beers. Work safely while maintaining a clean and organized brewery. What We're Looking For Professional brewing experience preferred (Assistant Brewer or Brewer preferred). Strong understanding of brewing science, sanitation, cellar operations, and quality control. A true passion for craft beer and the desire to continually improve your skills. Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently while collaborating with a small team. Comfortable working in a physically demanding production environment. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to consistency. Positive attitude with a willingness to jump in wherever needed. Forklift experience is a plus. Formal brewing education is a plus but not required. Physical Requirements Lift and carry up to 55 pounds. Work on your feet for extended periods. Climb ladders and work safely around production equipment. Work in hot, cold, wet, and occasionally dusty environments. Why High Tanks? This isn't a large production brewery where you'll be one person on a long shift. You'll play an active role in nearly every aspect of brewing and have the opportunity to help shape the future of our beer program as we continue to grow. If you're passionate about brewing, eager to keep learning, and excited by the opportunity to make exceptional beer in a unique farm brewery setting, we'd love to meet you.
