Brewer Details:
Temp-to-Hire position $20.00 to $21.00 /hour Full Time work available First Shift (Monday through Friday from 12:30pm to 08:00pm)
Brewing & Production:
Prepare tea base recipes strictly following precise temperature, steeping time, ratio, and water volume specifications.
Equipment Operation:
Operate commercial brewing urns, espresso/steam wands, kettles, filtration systems, and packaging or kegging equipment.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct taste, aroma, temperature, and visual checks on each batch to ensure taste profile and appearance meet company standards.
Sanitation & Safety:
Maintain a clean workspace; wash, sanitize, and deep-clean brewing vessels, dispensers, lines, and tools in accordance with health code regulations.
Inventory & Prep:
Monitor raw ingredient levels (tea leaves, syrups, sweeteners, boba, milk alternatives), restock brewing stations, and report low stock to supervisors.
Workplace Safety:
Handle boiling water, steam equipment, and heavy containers safely using proper PPE and lifting protocols.
Brewer Qualifications:
Experience:
1+ years in a commercial kitchen, cafe, beverage production, or food service environment.
Technical Quality Control:
Strong sensory skills for assessing taste, aroma, temperature, and visual appearance of beverage batches.
Precision & Detail:
Ability to follow strict recipes, measurement ratios, steep times, and health/sanitation protocols.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long shifts, and safely handle boiling liquids and steam equipment using proper PPE.
