Job Overview We are seeking a Dependable, dedicated individual to support the production team in a local food processing plant. The ideal candidate will be dependable and have a strong sense of commitment to the entire processing team. The successful candidate will be relied upon to fulfill the role of cleaning, loading, unloading, and assisting in areas of need. This role is essential in ensuring equipment (e.g., racks, baskets, skewers, utensils, etc.) are cleaned and available to be used for processing. Responsibilities Wash, scrub, and rinse Stainless Steel equipment used in food processing Lifting, bending, and observing needed cleaning Operate machinery and equipment in accordance with established procedures to ensure cleanliness. Understand basic USDA regulations, HACCP guidelines, and CGMP standards to maintain food safety throughout the production process. Assist in the unloading of cooked products, ensuring the safety of those assisting Observe and or inspect equipment for damage and inform supervisor of concerns Assist team members to meet production goals while maintaining a safe working environment. Requirements Ability to work in warm (even hot), moist environment LIft baskets (approximately 20 pounds) Push racks Stand for long periods (e.g., 1-hour at a time) Operate cleaning equipment (power washer, floor scrubber, etc.) Ability to follow instructions and understand safety protocols. Willingness to work flexible hours as needed in a dynamic production setting.
