In this role, you will support the roasting process, ensuring high-quality production while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help us deliver consistently outstanding coffee to our customers. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop hands-on skills in coffee roasting, equipment operation, and manufacturing within a vibrant food and beverage environment. Duties Assist in operating coffee roasting equipment, monitoring temperature, airflow, and roast profiles to achieve desired flavor profiles Support the cleaning and sanitation of all machinery, work areas, and storage spaces in accordance with HACCP, CGMP, and safety protocols Troubleshoot equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production flow Handle raw materials and finished products safely using proper manual handling techniques and material handling equipment when necessary Participate in quality assurance processes by inspecting roasted beans for consistency and adherence to quality standards Follow safety standards rigorously during all phases of manufacturing, including heavy lifting of up to 50lbs and machine operation Assist with packaging, labeling, and warehousing tasks to ensure efficient product distribution Requirements Prior experience in beverage manufacturing facilities or food & beverage production environments is highly preferred Knowledge of sanitation procedures, HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and food safety standards Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively Basic math skills for measuring ingredients, adjusting recipes, and recording data accurately Experience operating material handling equipment and warehouse machinery is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting of up to 50lbs safely Strong team leadership qualities with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within a fast-paced environment Join us in creating exceptional coffee experiences! Starting pay range is $19-21 per hour depending on prior experience. An employment review occurs at 90 days with opportunity for a pay raise along with access to employee 401K plan. Employee Health and Dental Plan is available only to full time employees working 40 hours per week.
