The opportunity Delaware North Gaming is searching for an experienced Assistant Beverage Manager to join our team at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. Assist in the administration of all beverage and bar-related functions to ensure guest satisfaction, maintaining bar cost of sales and assist in restaurant planned cost of sales Prepare weekly schedules, hire, train, and manage team members, providing feedback on their responsibilities and alignment to Delaware North programs such as GuestPath, GreenPath, and other service standards Complete purchasing in compliance with company programs and policies and provide a safe work environment by following all safety and security policies and procedures Attend and participate in meetings, committees, and training Research and develop new policies, procedures, menus, and control policies that elevate service standards and accountability of staff, coordinating alcohol compliance and quality standards, as well as handling guest relations and monitor adherence to quality assurance standards More about you Minimum two years' experience in a high-volume restaurant or catering environment No college degree required Strong food knowledge with a variety of menus and previous experience supervising service team members Experience effectively leading a team Verbal and written communication skills, creating a positive work environment Ability to manage their own time as well as the time of others Shift details Evenings Overnight Holidays Every weekend 8hr shift 10hr shift 12hr shift Who we are Southland Casino Hotel, owned and operated by Delaware North, features more than 2200 slot machines, live blackjack, craps, and roulette tables, simulcast wagering, and sportsbook.
