Supervisor, EVS (Caesars New Orleans) Caesars Entertainment - 3.6 New Orleans, LA Job Details Full-time 4 hours ago Qualifications Cleaning & sanitation management Managing commercial facilities cleaning teams Team leadership English Conflict de-escalation Casino staff supervision High school diploma or GED Supervising experience Venue cleaning Full Job Description The Casino EVS Supervisor leads Cleaners, Heavy Duty Cleaners, Cleaning Specialists and Equipment Repair Persons. Schedules cleaning staff and assigns duties for intensive cleaning of casino areas during shift. Assists the EVS Manager with daily assignments. Coordinates functions of the EVS employees on duty. Responsible for checking work of shift cleaning crew to ensure proper level of cleanliness in casino areas. Acts as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Harrah's and encourages others to do the same. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies. High school diploma or GED required. Knowledge of cleaning equipment and procedures is a necessity. Prior experience as a cleaning person in supervisory capacity is required. Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team. Must present a well-groomed appearance.
Additional Requirements:
Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino. Must be able to perform physical job duties of line employees in emergency situations. Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling guest and employee conflicts. Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke. Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
