In this pivotal role, you will ensure the smooth functioning of games, maintain regulatory compliance, and deliver exceptional guest services. Responsibilities Manage daily VFW operations, including supervising staff and overseeing games to ensure seamless gameplay. Enforce regulatory compliance with all gaming laws and internal policies, maintaining integrity across all activities. Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service while adhering to operational standards. Oversee cash handling procedures, including transactions and cash flow management, ensuring accuracy and security. Resolve conflicts or disputes promptly with professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction while maintaining fair gaming practices. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special events or promotions that boost guest engagement and revenue. Reviewing and monitoring the conduct of charitable gambling games. Determining the product to be purchased and put into play; and determining and enforcing the policy of when to put games into play. Ensuring that all inventory records have been reconciled each month. Supervising all licensing and reporting requirements; promptly filing all required monthly and annual reports. Ensuring all receipts and disbursements have been properly accounted for in compliance with statute and rule requirements. Assuring that the organization is in compliance with all statutes and rules related to lawful gambling. Prepares checks and electronic transactions authorizations for signatures; prepares bank deposits and deposits gambling receipts. Trains employees. Performs random spot checks of games in play and closed games. Verifies and monitors cash banks. Ensure security measurements that are in place to protect assets and employees follow procedure. Skills Excellent leadership abilities with a knack for motivating teams and fostering a positive work environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting, scheduling, and communication purposes. Strong mathematical aptitude and numeracy skills necessary for cash handling, game calculations, and data analysis. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences. Effective conflict management skills to handle disputes professionally while maintaining a calm demeanor.
