As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, greeting guests, and coordinating seating arrangements while providing outstanding customer service. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and walk-in guests efficiently to optimize seating. Maintain an organized waiting list and communicate wait times accurately. Answer phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, assisting with inquiries and reservations. Collaborate with the restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Provide information about menu items and restaurant policies to guests. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction. Qualifications Previous experience in guest relations or customer service, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting. Familiarity with POS systems; experience with Aloha POS is a plus. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A friendly demeanor with a passion for helping others and providing excellent service. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
