Job Description
Awake overnight House Monitors needed to oversee the facility where we provide temporary and emergency housing for families . All nights of the week needed with weekends included. Security background and overnight experience required. Availability for holiday coverage is preferred. Shifts are 12 midnight to 8am. Part-time and Per Diem (On Call) will be available in Medford and Ronkonkoma. Looking for people with flexible schedules who want to work overnight, especially weekends 12am-8am. Awake shift, set burglar alarms, monitor houses while families are sleeping, security cameras for your viewing, cleaning common areas and offices, prepare rooms to be ready for new families, stock supplies, keep record of resident attendance/absences, light paperwork. Part-time benefits include paid time off for employees working 24 hours or more after successfully completing a 90-day orientation period. Must be fingerprinted through the Suffolk County Department of Social Services. Fingerprinting will be paid by us. Must have your own vehicle, good boundaries, and must be reliable during bad weather and holidays. Availability by phone to provide last minute coverage for sick calls is a plus.
