About the Role LiveLab is seeking an energetic, tech-savvy, and sales-driven livestream host to represent leading technology brands, including Shokz and xTool , through live commerce channels such as TikTok Shop and Amazon Live. This role is ideal for someone who can understand technical products quickly, explain complex features in clear and engaging language, and confidently demonstrate products on camera. You will introduce products, conduct live demonstrations, answer audience questions, and guide viewers toward purchasing decisions. Featured Product Categories Shokz open-ear and bone-conduction headphones xTool laser engravers, cutting machines, and creative equipment Consumer electronics and smart devices DIY tools and maker products Other innovative technology products Key Responsibilities Host professional, engaging, and sales-focused livestreams Learn product specifications, functions, use cases, and competitive advantages Translate technical information into simple, customer-friendly explanations Demonstrate products clearly and confidently during live sessions Explain setup, compatibility, materials, safety requirements, and common applications Respond to technical and product-related audience questions in real time Present pricing, promotions, coupons, and limited-time offers accurately Use strong calls to action to encourage product clicks and purchases Collaborate with moderators and project managers to maintain the planned livestream rhythm Adjust the presentation based on audience engagement, product clicks, and sales performance Participate in required product training, rehearsals, and performance reviews Maintain a polished, professional, and brand-appropriate on-camera appearance Ideal Candidate Comfortable and confident speaking on camera Naturally interested in technology, electronics, DIY products, or creative tools Able to learn detailed product information quickly Strong at explaining technical features without sounding overly complicated Capable of performing hands-on product demonstrations Energetic, persuasive, and comfortable asking viewers to make a purchase Able to maintain engagement during longer livestream sessions Responsive to real-time feedback and direction from the production team Reliable, punctual, and available for on-site work in Culver City Comfortable working with changing schedules based on project needs Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in livestream hosting, sales, content creation, product demonstrations, or retail Experience with consumer electronics, headphones, power tools, laser engraving, crafting, or maker products Familiarity with TikTok Shop, Amazon Live, YouTube, or other livestream platforms Experience creating technology reviews, tutorials, unboxing videos, or demonstration content Strong understanding of how to communicate product benefits, not only specifications Ability to troubleshoot basic product and demonstration issues during a live session What Makes a Strong Host for These Projects For Shokz , the host should be able to explain topics such as open-ear design, sound quality, comfort, fit, battery life, connectivity, calls, exercise use, and everyday lifestyle applications. For xTool , the host should be comfortable demonstrating equipment and explaining materials, project ideas, machine capabilities, software workflow, setup, safety, and the differences between various models. The strongest candidates can combine technical credibility with an approachable and persuasive sales style. You should be able to make advanced products feel easy to understand, exciting to use, and worth purchasing. Schedule Approximately 15-30 hours per week, depending on availability, training progress, project demand, and performance. Evening and weekend availability is preferred. All livestreams and required product training are conducted in person at our Culver City studio.
