Job Details The Ravine Club is a Dodgers-loving sports bar and restaurant opening this fall in Echo Park, steps from Dodger Stadium. The HOST is the first and last impression of the room, greeting guests, managing the flow of a packed house on game days, and setting the tone for the hospitality we want to be known for. Hours & Compensation Full Time, Hourly $20-$23/hour plus tips (pooled)

Dining Discount, Flexible Schedule Primary Requirements 1+ years experience as a host or in a fast-paced guest-facing role; Strong communication skills and a warm, welcoming demeanor; Ability to stay calm and organized while managing a full waitlist during peak volume; Basic point-of-sale skills (we run SpotOn); A team-first attitude -- this is a high-energy room and everyone covers everyone; and Availability to work nights, weekends and Dodger home games (including some day games). Primary Responsibilities Greets guests warmly upon arrival and manages the waitlist during peak periods; Seats guests efficiently, balancing sections to keep service moving smoothly; Answers phones and manages reservations where applicable; Communicates accurate wait times and manages guest expectations during a full house; Maintains a clean, organized host stand and entry area throughout service; Coordinates with FOH and management on section rotation and table timing; Assists with menus, seating needs, and general guest questions; and Supports opening and closing side work as assigned. Work Environment Involves standing and walking for the entire shift; Involves working near the entrance, exposed to weather and foot traffic; Involves occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds (menus, supplies, signage); and High-noise, high-energy environment, especially during televised games.
