Part-time The face of Blazing King. The first smile our guests see. Blazing King Korean BBQ & Hotpot is opening in San Bernardino, and we're looking for a Host/Hostess who knows how to set the vibe. You're the gatekeeper of the dining room—warm, welcoming, and in control even when the waitlist is a mile long. If you can juggle a packed lobby with a smile and keep the flow moving, we want you at our front door.What You'll Do:
- Greet every guest with a warm, genuine welcome—you set the tone for their entire experience.
- Manage the waitlist and seating chart with precision, maximizing table turns.
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus with a smile.
- Answer phone calls, and handle guest inquiries.
- Communicate constantly with servers and managers about table availability and party sizes.
- Keep the host stand and lobby area clean, organized, and inviting.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with grace and escalate when needed.
What We're Looking For:
- No prior experience required—we'll train the right person with the right attitude!
- Warm, outgoing personality—you genuinely enjoy connecting with people.
- Ability to stay calm and organized during peak rushes.
- Excellent communication and phone skills.
- Sharp attention to detail—you remember names, faces, and special requests.
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Food Handler's Certificate (or willing to obtain shortly after hiring).
