As a Host, you will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating arrangements to enhance overall guest satisfaction. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will set the tone for a warm and inviting atmosphere, encouraging guests to feel comfortable and valued throughout their visit. Responsibilities Greet guests promptly with a friendly and professional demeanor, making them feel welcome from the moment they arrive Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accurate tracking of guest seating times Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize seating arrangements and minimize wait times Maintain a clean and organized host station, ensuring all menus, reservation books, and seating charts are up-to-date Answer guest inquiries via phone or in person with clear communication, providing information about wait times, menu options, or special events Assist in managing guest flow during busy periods to ensure a smooth dining experience for all patrons Uphold high standards of hospitality and phone etiquette while fostering positive guest relations Skills Proven experience as a Host or hostess in a food service or restaurant environment Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; hotel experience is a plus Knowledge of hospitality best practices, including guest relations, serving procedures, and phone etiquette Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Experience working in hotel or guest services environments is advantageous Join our team where your vibrant personality will help create memorable experiences for every guest.
