Responsibilities Greet guests with enthusiasm and professionalism, providing a positive first impression. Escort guests to their tables, ensuring smooth seating arrangements and timely service flow. Handle guest inquiries via phone with courteous phone etiquette, providing accurate information about wait times and reservations. Maintain organized waiting lists and communicate wait times clearly to guests. Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area. Support team members by coordinating guest flow and ensuring excellent guest relations throughout their visit. Qualifications Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting is preferred, demonstrating strong customer service skills. Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional demeanor. Strong organizational skills to manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow effectively. Basic math skills for handling seating capacity and waitlist calculations accurately.
