Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating efficiently to optimize table utilization and minimize wait times, ensuring smooth flow of service. Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information about wait times, reservations, and general inquiries while maintaining excellent phone etiquette. Handle guest check-ins and manage waitlists efficiently using organizational skills and POS systems. Process payments accurately through POS systems, including cash, credit cards, while maintaining basic math proficiency. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area in compliance with food safety standards. Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously, fostering positive guest relations. Qualifications Prior experience as a host/hostess or cashier in a restaurant or food service environment is

REQUIRED.

Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with restaurant reservation management and table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Excellent organizational skills to manage reservations, seating plans, and guest flow efficiently. Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and handling cash transactions confidently. Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices to ensure a safe and welcoming environment. Previous experience with POS systems including Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Ability to handle phone communication professionally while demonstrating good phone etiquette.
