Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage reservations, and coordinate seating arrangements to optimize flow and guest satisfaction Assist with To Go orders by accurately processing phone-in and online orders using restaurant POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Maintain a clean and organized host station, ensuring all reservation and waitlist information is up-to-date Support the bussing team by clearing tables efficiently and resetting them promptly to prepare for new guests Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service delivery Handle phone inquiries professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills Uphold food safety standards and ensure guest relations are positive through attentive service and friendly interactions Skills Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred; strong guest service skills are essential Familiarity with restaurant reservation management and table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Excellent communication skills, including clear phone communication and professional phone etiquette Strong organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and guest flow efficiently Basic math skills for processing orders and handling payments accurately Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain a clean and safe environment Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced hospitality setting while maintaining a positive attitude Experience with POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) is a plus; prior restaurant experience is beneficial Join us in creating an inviting atmosphere where guests feel at home!
