Front-of-House Manager Position Summary:

As the first point of contact for our guests, the Host/Hostess plays a key role in creating a welcoming and organized dining experience at SriThai Kitchen and Sushi Bar. We are looking for someone who is friendly, professional, and great at managing reservations and guest flow over the phone and in person.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests with a warm, welcoming attitude as they enter the restaurant. Manage phone call reservations and accurately log guest details and timing. Keep track of the waitlist and communicate wait times to guests clearly. Escort guests to their tables and provide menus with a smile. Answer phone calls promptly and professionally to assist with reservations, takeout orders, and general inquiries. Communicate seating needs with the service and kitchen teams to ensure smooth dining flow. Keep the host stand, entrance, and front area clean and presentable at all times. Assist with packaging and coordinating takeout orders during busy shifts when needed. Handle guest issues with care and escalate to management when appropriate.

Requirements:

Prior experience in a host or customer service role is preferred. Comfortable handling phone reservations and managing guest lists manually or via a simple digital log. Friendly, calm, and professional communication style. Ability to multitask and remain organized during busy periods. Dependable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with Asian cuisine is a plus. Bilingual (English/Thai or other languages) is an asset.
