Table Games Host Rhythm City Casino Resort - 3.5 Davenport, IA Job Details 6 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Casino experience Driver's License Full Job Description The Table Games Casino Host/Assistant Shift Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional service and memorable experiences to VIP table games guests and maintaining the security of all table games. This role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with high-value table games patrons through personalized engagement and strategic outreach. Key responsibilities include identifying, acquiring, and retaining VIP table games players using player reports, hosting both on-property and off-property events, and ensuring guest satisfaction with first-class service and amenities. They will actively grow their assigned client base, increase visit frequency, and drive gaming revenue while meeting profitability standards. This position requires proactive outbound calling, regular presence on the casino floor, attendance at external events to attract new high-value guests, and acting as the table games shift manager as necessary.
Essential Functions:
Provide exceptional guest service to all customers, with a focus on VIP clientele. Actively seek new customer leads through floor interaction and participation in external events. Maintain detailed records of guest interactions, visit history, and preferences to guide outbound calling and personalized service. Collect and analyze table games player data to evaluate existing and potential player segments. Monitors the completeness and accuracy of the Player Tracking Forms and associated Pit paperwork. Drive increased visits and gaming revenue from table games guests by actively managing an assigned portfolio of VIP players and consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual performance goals. Evaluate the profitability of assigned players when offering complimentaries or promo chips, ensuring adherence to company comp policy. Collaborate with marketing leadership to plan special activities for VIP players. Conduct outbound sales calls to meet customer count, trip frequency, revenue, and profit performance goals. Collaborate with leadership to set and maintain goals and growth targets for assigned players each quarter. Perform daily reviews of table games player activity to develop prioritized call lists and targeted floor engagement plans. Use discretion in re-engaging inactive table games players with tailored outreach strategies. Meet regularly with the Table Games Director to review performance metrics and strategic goals for assigned players. Maximize hotel room block utilization by selecting high-value players, contributing to overall hotel and gaming revenue goals. Coordinate with hotel staff to manage departmental room blocks efficiently. Work cross-functionally with departments to ensure VIP players receive elevated service and accommodations. Utilize KCMS and related systems to manage player accounts, interpret point balances, comp eligibility, and theoretical vs. actual win data. Resolve VIP guest concerns and service issues promptly and professionally. Assist with the execution of special events, player parties, and accompany VIP guests to on- or off-property functions as needed. Maintain confidentiality regarding guest information, internal procedures, and company data. Stay informed about all current property promotions, special events, and offerings. Represent the property and company professionally at all times. Maintains ongoing communication with Casino Leadership and Table Games Director. Exercise sound judgment and escalate issues to management when appropriate. Maintain flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Perform other duties as assigned in a timely and professional manner.
Required:
Experience with Casino Management Systems (e.g., KCMS). Prior experience in table games management Formal training or education in customer service, table games operations, sales, hospitality, or a related field. Multilingual abilities, especially in languages commonly spoken by our guest demographics, are a strong plus. Ability to obtain and maintain an occupational license from the state gaming authority. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license. Schedule flexibility required, to include days, evenings, weekends and holidays, to meet the demands of a 24/7/365 business.
