Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. You will manage reservations, greet guests, and assist with seating arrangements while maintaining a smooth flow of service. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables. Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using the Aloha POS system or similar software. Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area. Provide excellent guest services by answering questions about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies. Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction. Collaborate with team members to enhance guest relations and create a positive dining experience. Experience Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and guest relations. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus but can be learned on the job. A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role.
