In this energetic role, you will create a warm, inviting atmosphere for guests from the moment they arrive. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will set the tone for an exceptional dining or hospitality experience. As a Host, you'll manage reservations, greet guests with a positive attitude, and ensure smooth seating flow—all while maintaining a lively and professional environment that keeps our guests excited to return. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop your customer service skills in a dynamic, fast-paced setting where every day is different! Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival with a friendly and energetic demeanor, making them feel valued and comfortable Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to optimize seating arrangements Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and smooth service flow Provide accurate wait times and assist guests with seating arrangements during busy periods Answer guest inquiries over the phone with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to uphold a welcoming environment Handle guest concerns or special requests promptly, escalating issues when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction Requirements Previous experience as a Host or in a customer service role within food service or hospitality environments preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests Experience with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Knowledge of restaurant operations, guest services, and hospitality standards is a plus Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a positive attitude Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills to handle inquiries professionally Previous hotel or guest services experience is advantageous but not required Must be able to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods throughout shifts Join us in creating memorable experiences for every guest!
