Part-Time Live Online Auction Sales Host Location:

Lake in the Hills, IL (In Person - Local candidates only. Out-of-state applicants will not be considered.)

Position Type:

Part-Time Schedule This part-time position is expected to begin with approximately three shifts per week. Typical shifts are approximately 4.5-5 hours. New hosts generally begin with weekday daytime and weekend daytime shifts while learning the role and developing their live-selling skills. Regular weekend availability is required, with flexibility to work Saturdays or Sundays based on the rotating schedule, staffing coverage and business needs. Additional shifts, including evening opportunities, may become available based on performance, reliability, availability, readiness, and business needs. Strong-performing hosts may have opportunities to grow their schedules over time. Flexible availability is helpful, with weekend availability being the highest priority.

Compensation:

Up to $25 per hour Paid training begins at $18 per hour. Once approved to host independently, hosts can earn up to $22 per hour for weekday daytime auctions and up to $25 per hour for evening and weekend auctions, based on shift assignment, performance, and incentive eligibility. Exceptional hosts may have opportunity to earn more as they grow in the role. Can You Build Excitement and Drive Live Sales? This isn't simply presenting products. Your job is to create excitement, build value, engage buyers, and encourage competitive bidding throughout each live auction. Every show is different. Our live auctions begin on time, every time. Customers are waiting. Inventory has already been prepared. Your teammates are counting on you. Excellent attendance, punctuality, and professionalism are essential. This Role May Not Be a Fit If... You dislike interacting with people, or are generally shy. You prefer highly structured or scripted work. You become uncomfortable leading a live audience, or leading at all. You struggle to maintain energy throughout a multi-hour event. You have difficulty maintaining reliable attendance. Required Qualifications Must be able to pass a background check. Must be able to work on-site in Lake in the Hills, IL.
