Mia Francesca is looking for a friendly, professional, and energetic Host / Hostess to join our team. As the first and last point of contact for our guests, our Hosts play an important role in creating a warm, welcoming experience from the moment guests walk through the door. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality, communicates well, stays composed in a busy environment, and takes pride in making guests feel taken care of. What You'll Do Warmly greet every guest with a genuine smile and welcoming attitude Manage the flow of guests and maintain an accurate waitlist during busy periods Escort guests to their tables and provide menus Answer phones and assist guests with reservations, questions, and general inquiries Manage reservations and seating assignments efficiently Communicate with servers, managers, and other team members to maintain a smooth flow of service Monitor table availability and help balance sections to support the service team Keep the host stand and surrounding areas clean, organized, and presentable Assist with takeout orders and other front-of-house tasks when needed Maintain awareness of what is happening throughout the dining room and communicate guest needs to the appropriate team member Thank guests as they leave and make sure they leave with the same positive impression they had when they arrived Follow all restaurant service standards, policies, and procedures What We're Looking For A friendly, outgoing personality and genuine interest in hospitality Strong communication and people skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize during busy service Reliable, punctual, and dependable Comfortable working as part of a team Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred, but not required What Makes a Great Host at Mia Francesca?
