The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a positive dining experience. This role is essential in managing the flow of guests and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and ensure they feel welcomed. Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize dining room efficiency. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions. Coordinate with servers to ensure timely service for all guests. Handle phone inquiries and reservations with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Address guest concerns or complaints promptly, ensuring satisfaction and fostering positive guest relations. Collaborate with the restaurant team to create a hospitable environment for all patrons. Skills Previous Host/Host experience is preferred, along with general food service knowledge. Strong customer service skills, with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to interact effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Experience in hotel or restaurant environments is a plus, enhancing guest services capabilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
