Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression Manage restaurant reservation systems efficiently, including booking, modifying, and confirming reservations Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table utilization and reduce wait times Answer incoming phone calls with courteous phone etiquette, addressing guest inquiries promptly and accurately Maintain clear communication with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless guest service flow Use restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to track seating and reservations Uphold food safety standards by adhering to proper sanitation and organizational procedures in guest areas Assist with guest relations by responding to special requests or concerns promptly and professionally Qualifications Prior experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and welcoming demeanor Familiarity with restaurant reservation management tools and POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and clear verbal interaction Basic math skills for managing reservations, waitlists, and table counts accurately Organizational skills to manage multiple tables, reservations, and guest needs efficiently Knowledge of food safety practices and hospitality standards is a plus Ability to handle busy periods with professionalism and composure Join our team as a Host and be the friendly face that makes every guest feel valued!
