Job Description
Host 919 North 8th Street, Humboldt, KS 66748 From $7 an hour + tips
- Part-time From $7 an hour + tips
- Part-time Base Pay is $7.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions about the menu
- Enter orders into the POS system and ensure accuracy
- Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food to tables
- Monitor tables and promptly address any guest needs or requests
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
Requirements:
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
- Knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective guest relations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong multitasking abilities to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously Please note that this position may require standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 25 pounds.
