Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and personable Host/Hostess to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensure smooth seating and reservation management. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, manage reservations efficiently, and coordinate with the restaurant team to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Availability MUST be available Friday & Saturday evenings - open availability is a plus Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to optimize table utilization Manage restaurant reservation systems to schedule and confirm bookings accurately Answer phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette, providing information about wait times, reservations, and menu offerings Maintain organized waitlists and communicate wait times clearly to guests while managing guest expectations Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and smooth flow of service Uphold food safety standards by adhering to proper guest handling procedures and sanitation protocols Handle guest concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive guest relations experience Skills Proven experience as a host/hostess or in a similar customer service role within a restaurant setting Strong knowledge of restaurant reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Silverware POS Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on friendly phone etiquette Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills for processing reservations, managing waitlists, and handling POS transactions Familiarity with food service operations, including serving procedures and hospitality standards Organizational skills necessary for managing multiple tables, reservations, and guest requests simultaneously Knowledge of food safety practices and adherence to health regulations Join our team as a Host/Hostess and be the friendly face that sets the tone for an outstanding dining experience!
