Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits Manage guest reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information and assisting with inquiries Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders and payments accurately Handle cashier duties including cash, credit card, and digital payments while maintaining balanced registers Assist with guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to ensure a professional appearance at all times Skills Proven experience as a host/hostess or cashier in food service or restaurant settings Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of restaurant operations and guest services best practices Professional phone etiquette and guest relations skills to enhance overall guest satisfaction This role is perfect for individuals passionate about hospitality who thrive on creating positive guest experiences.
