As the first point of contact, you will ensure every guest feels valued and comfortable from the moment they arrive. Duties Greet guests warmly with enthusiasm and genuine friendliness, making them feel at home Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Maintain a clean, organized host stand and waiting area to ensure a professional appearance Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to coordinate guest seating and special requests Answer phone inquiries promptly, providing accurate information about wait times or reservation details Assist guests with seating, answer questions about the menu or restaurant policies, and address any concerns courteously Support guest relations by ensuring a smooth flow of service and fostering a positive atmosphere throughout the restaurant Requirements Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Experience in hospitality, guest services, serving, or hotel environments is advantageous Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism Knowledge of food service operations and guest relations practices is desirable Join our team and be part of an energetic environment where your hospitality skills shine!
