Responsibilities Greet guests warmly as they arrive and assist with seating arrangements to optimize flow and comfort Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring proper table setting and sanitation standards are maintained Buss tables promptly after guests leave, removing used dishes, glassware, and utensils to prepare for new diners Assist servers by delivering food and beverages when needed, supporting smooth service operations Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including sweeping floors, wiping surfaces, and sanitizing tables regularly Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of chairs, tables, or supplies following safe lifting practices Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate table turnover and address guest needs promptly Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Familiarity with sanitation procedures, food handling, and kitchen safety standards is advantageous Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide excellent customer service Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and physical movement of items Experience in hospitality or hotel settings can be beneficial but is not mandatory; a positive attitude and eagerness to serve are essential!
